JUDGMENT COLLECTIONS

So you've now gone through business litigation and a judicial judgment has been awarded in your favor. The courts at this point have no further role in the process to collect your money. Now, it's time to enforce the judgment through commercial debt recovery. However, the cold hard truth about collecting judgments is that 80% go uncollected.

There are several debt enforcement tools that Commercial Collection Firm of America firm uses to collect judgments against businesses who owe money:

Writ of Execution:

Our firm uses skip trace services, judgment debtor examinations, and asset searches to uncover bank accounts and assets that the debtor company might be attempting to hide. While the judgment enforcement can be complicated, our firm will do everything possible to retrieve money deposited in the debtor companies bank account(s). If assets are found, when permissible, our firm will involve law enforcement officials to seize cash or physical assets at the debtor's place of business.

Filing Liens on Real Property:

Once we have verified that a debtor company has real property through our skip tracing, our firm will file a lien. The lien places a legal claim on the property which constitutes a cloud on the title. If a judgment lien is placed on real property, the lien will have to be resolved before that property can be sold in the future.
